  • Pros: Great menus, used to have shopping lists in magazine
  • Cons: Not enough women, families of color; insufficient articles for readers w/o children

I ended my 5+years Real Simple subscription recently. Initially, I liked the magazine. The years of subscribing show an increasing lack of articles, inclusion of women, families of color and more attention to households without children. Real Simple magazine doesn't meet my needs or interest any longer.

  • Pros: Love all the different tips and facts they publish monthly
  • Cons: Most of the clothes and accessories in different articles are very expensive. With the economy the way it is, it seems like they would be suggesting items that are less expensive.

Overall - I absolutely LOVE Real Simple Magazine more than any other magazine. About 4 yrs ago, my sister gave me a subscription for my birthday and I have been reading it ever since. I especially love the Solutions and Trends Worth Trying sections.

I love Real Simple magazine mainly for its coupons but it's is so expensive! The price is the only hindrance I see in this magazine!

I love Real Simple magazine. It is beautiful to look at and filled with wonderful ideas and recipes. It is one of my favorite magazines.
