Newsweek is still a good source for news. on July 01, 2010 by Al from El Paso, TX USA

  • Pros: It comes every week.
  • Cons: It does tend to accumulate.

I subscribe to both Newsweek magazine and Time magazine. It would be a shame is either of them went out of business.

Magazine content has changed significantly on June 21, 2010 by 9dad from Williwmsburg, Virginia

  • Pros: Outstanding writers and analysis of current issues
  • Cons: No longer covers week's news - it's an opinion magazine now

Newsweek magazine used to cover the previous week's news so reading it kept me up on current events. With its current financial problems, it has virtually eliminated news coverage (probably fired most of its news reporters)and gone almost exclusively to opinion pieces. The analysis is good; however broad news coverage is gone.

Don't Mess With a Hit on March 04, 2010 by Hermosa from 4 Blocks to the Atlantic Ocean

  • Pros: None
  • Cons: See Below

What's with the new teeny tiny print? Don't they know the aging population reads Newsweek magazine? Why'd they get rid of the last page article? Was no one in the entire world able to replace the writer? I could go on...
