Marie Claire is the perfect read for the professional, single woman in the 26-40 age range. I've always had a go-to lifestyle magazine since I was about 13, starting with Teen, then Seventeen, then Cosmo, then Glamour, now Marie Claire. If you're sick of the trendy, trashy stuff in Cosmo (more for the 22 year-old set) and are looking for more substance and thought provoking articles than Glamour, and aren't yet into the older, more family-focused publications like Redbook and O, this is the magazine for you. I say this is targeted toward single women, mostly because it doesn't have
