I have subscriptions to several magazines, and Ladies' Home Journal one is one I really enjoy. It regularly has interesting ideas for the home, for food, fashion and useful health information. It isn't expensive and it's a great value.

- Cons: same old junk how to's
I had a subscription for County Home and the magazine was discontinued and Ladies' Home Journal was sent in its place. In my opinion, these two magazines have nothing in common. If I had wanted the same old tired how-to's magazine I would have ordered it. I only received one issue and half way through I was so upset that I just threw the Ladies' Home Journal in the trash. I used to look forward to receiving my Country Home magazine and looking at all the pictures of homes and decorating ideas. Now I'd rather have a refund than read all the same junk each month in Ladies' Home Journal.

- Pros: none that I noted
- Cons: Usless articles/mostly advertising
I recieved the July 2008 issue of LHJ and looked through it in a matter of mintues. I took a marker and made a black on the Full and half page ads. Over half my issue is now marked with black XXX's. I find that I have wasted any money that I paid for my subscription. This is the first time I have subscribed to this magazine in many years because I have been working and have a busy schedule. I find that your current magazine does not compare favorable to the LHJ that I have taken in previous years.
